Duodenohepatic fistula: a rare complication of amebic hepatic abscess. A case report.

A case of an amebic hepatic abscess complicated with a duodenohepatic fistula is presented and the treatment discussed. It is concluded, that a duodenohepatic fistula secondary to an amebic hepatic abscess ought to be operated on to avoid the risk of developing a persistent fistula with secondary pyogenic infection.
