[Etiologic diagnosis of non-infectious bronchial asthma].

The authors have considered numerous factors resulting in the development of noninfectious bronchial asthma. A conclusion has been made of a necessity of successive ruling out of all known allergic exposures. A special program of etiological diagnosis of noninfectious bronchial asthma is proposed with great emphasis on the diagnosis of food allergy in bronchial asthma. Experiments on the detection of food hypersensitivity mediating immunological mechanisms open up opportunities for the development and use of panels of food allergens in order to shorten and simplify a process of patients' examination for diagnosis of food allergy in bronchial asthma.
