Besides the classic venereal diseases candidiasis, trichomoniasis, hemophilus and herpes infections, and also condylomata acuminata were found very frequently in the female population. Especially the HPV 16 and HPV 18 infections are of high interest: The oncogenic potency of the two virus become a big challenge for medicine and molecular biology.
