[The effect of a sodium nucleinate and levamisole combination on the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy and bicillin prophylaxis of erysipelas recurrences].

Two hundred and two patients with acute erysipelas and 28 patients in remission of the disease were examined. 102 patients of the main group were treated with sodium nucleinate and levamisole in addition to the routine therapy and 100 patients of the control group were subjected to the routine therapy alone. The favourable effect of the immunomodulators on the clinical picture of the disease and the immune status of the patients was shown.
