Although pancreatic pseudocysts are usually found in the vicinity of the pancreas, there are reports of them rupturing into the peritoneal cavity, fistulizing into the thorax or bowel and occupying unusual sites such as the mesentery, mediastinum and spleen. This is a report of a patient with pancreatitis and a pancreatic pseudocyst presenting as a swelling of the left thigh due to dissection of the pseudocyst into the psoas muscle.
