[Behavior of cholinesterase activity in lipid metabolism disorders].

In the serum of 127 patients with hypercholesterolaemia, hypertriglyceridaemia and mixed HLP the cholinesterase activities were determined. In hypercholesterolaemia they did not differ from persons with healthy metabolism, however, in hypertriglyceridaemia and mixed HLP were significantly increased. As the cause of increased cholinesterase activities an increased secretion of VLDL in the liver is discussed.
