Ethyl l-sorboside, CHO, was prepared from the rare sugar l-sorbose, CHO, and crystallized. It was confirmed that ethyl l-sorboside formed α-pyran-ose with a conformation. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. The unit-cell volume of the title ethyl α-l-sorboside is 940.63 Å ( = 4), which is about 194.69 Å (26.1%) bigger than that of l-sorbose [745.94 Å ( = 4)].
L-山梨醇乙酯(CHO)由稀有糖L-山梨糖(CHO)制备并结晶。已证实L-山梨醇乙酯形成具有一种构象的α-吡喃糖。在晶体中,分子通过O-H⋯O氢键相连,形成三维网络。标题化合物α-L-山梨醇乙酯的晶胞体积为940.63 ų(Z = 4),比L-山梨糖的晶胞体积[745.94 ų(Z = 4)]大约大194.69 ų(26.1%)。
