In the title compound, CHBrNOS, the benzo-thia-zole and thio-phene ring systems subtend an inter-planar angle of 7.43 (12)°. The NH group forms intra-molecular hydrogen bonds to N and O. The S-C bond is short [1.759 (2) Å]. The mol-ecules are connected to form ribbons parallel to the axis by two 'weak' hydrogen bonds and a short N⋯S contact.
