Abstract
The focus of this article is to provide the reader with a greater understanding of acute spinal cord injury from the nursing diagnosis perspective. Nurses have a significant role to play in the acute care phase, which will have an even greater and long-lasting impact on the quality of life for persons with spinal cord injury.
