Abstract
Seeing adolescent patients in private practice can be a challenging experience. Practical suggestions concerning the office setting scheduling, staffing, and billing are outlined. Physician attributes seen from an adolescent viewpoint are also enumerated. Finally, indications for pelvic examinations in this age group, interviewing, and confidentiality are discussed.
