Nurses prepared to work co-operatively with the world's peoples in achieving "Health for All" have a vital role in primary health care. At the University of Illinois, Nursing in Primary Health Care is offered through the Collaborative Baccalaureate Project, a basic instructional system which can be adapted to different educational settings. It is presented here as an example of an original approach for effective delivery of primary health care content.
