[Conservative treatment of supracondylar humerus fractures in children with Blount's method (author's transl)].

Author treated during the period of 1971--78, 84 patients with supracondylar humerus fractures using the method of Blount for fixation. Based on experiences gained by follow up examination 2--5 years after the first treatment, author states, that this method yielding good functional results, by its simplicity and efficiency is an excellent and feasible procedure for selected supracondylar humeral fracture cases.
