Terbium tritelluride, TbTe, orders antiferromagnetically in three steps at = 6.7 K, = 5.7 K, and = 5.4 K, preceded by a correlation hump in magnetic susceptibility at ~8 K. Combining thermodynamic, i.e., specific heat and magnetization , and transport, i.e., resistance , measurements we established the boundaries of two commensurate and one charge density wave modulated phases in a magnetic field oriented along principal crystallographic axes. Based on these measurements, the magnetic phase diagrams of TbTe at ‖, ‖ and ‖ were constructed.
三碲化铽(TbTe)在6.7 K、5.7 K和5.4 K时分三步呈现反铁磁有序,在约8 K时磁导率出现关联峰。结合热力学测量(即比热和磁化强度)和输运测量(即电阻),我们确定了在沿主要晶轴方向的磁场中两个 commensurate相和一个电荷密度波调制相的边界。基于这些测量结果,构建了TbTe在‖、‖和‖方向的磁相图。
