Prevention of failures in making impressions and dies.

I have attempted to provide information that will help to prevent failures that occur during partial denture construction as a result of unsatisfactory fabrication of crowns. Methods of exposure of the preparation margins, provision of adequate bulk of the elastic impression material, proper selection of die construction, and the removable die technique were discussed.
