Gyrodactylus longoacuminatus Zitnan, 1964, forma minor sensu Ergens (1985) was identified as G. gurleyi Price, 1937. Morphological and metrical evaluations of the hard parts of opisthaptor of more than 200 specimens provided data on the variability of this parasite; Cyprinus carpio haematopterus represents its new host. Since the shape of the hard parts of opisthaptor of G. gurleyi is very similar to that of G. longoacuminatus, further detailed studies of the two species will be necessary, particularly of their reaction to the changes of environmental temperature.
1964年齐特南鉴定的长尖三代虫（Gyrodactylus longoacuminatus Zitnan），按照埃尔根斯（1985年）的狭义小形态型，被鉴定为1937年普赖斯描述的格氏三代虫（G. gurleyi Price）。对200多个标本后吸器硬体部分的形态学和测量学评估提供了该寄生虫变异性的数据；鲤形目鲤科的鲤（Cyprinus carpio haematopterus）是其新宿主。由于格氏三代虫后吸器硬体部分的形状与长尖三代虫非常相似，因此有必要对这两个物种进行进一步的详细研究，特别是它们对环境温度变化的反应。
