[Optical characteristics of closed-type safety glasses].

Measurements of spectral translucent coefficients of four types of protective spectacles with clean and tinted glasses were done using the C phi-46 spectrophotometer. Translucent coefficients were calculated according to a special programme in relation to the visibility factor curve. Vision acuity evaluation for the analysed spectacles is given. It was found that the change of vision acuity in relationship to the glass tinting degree does not directly depend on their translucent coefficient change.
