[Status of pathological anatomy in the capitalist countries of Europe and the USA].

A review of the status and development of pathological anatomy in some European capitalist countries and in the USA is presented on the basis of the literature of recent years. The difficulties which arose in the development of this discipline are described and some comparisons of its status in these countries, the DDR, and the USSR are presented.
