The peculiar features of the histological structure of monstrocellular sarcoma of the brain are discussed on the grounds of morphological study of 14 cases. It is shown that the tumor arises in the adventitial cells of the cerebral blood vessels, which is evidence in favor of its mesenchymal origin.
