Abstract

Cysticercosis in humans is caused by larval cysts of the tapeworm . Any tissue in the human body can become infected by these larval cysts, but the central nervous system, skeletal muscles, subcutaneous tissues, and eyes are the most frequently affected. Muscle cysts are uncommon and typically do not present with any symptoms. In this study, we present a rare case of skeletal cysticercosis as a calf swelling and its management.

摘要

人类囊尾蚴病是由绦虫的幼虫囊肿引起的。人体的任何组织都可能被这些幼虫囊肿感染，但中枢神经系统、骨骼肌、皮下组织和眼睛是最常受影响的部位。肌肉囊肿并不常见，通常也不会出现任何症状。在本研究中，我们报告了一例罕见的以小腿肿胀为表现的骨骼囊尾蚴病病例及其治疗情况。
