Eriophyid mites (Eriophyidae) are strictly phytophagous and are concentrated in Europe, Eastern Asia, Southeast Asia, Western and Eastern North America, Southern India, and New Zealand. South and southwest China are hot spots for eriophyid mite species diversity and endemism. In this study, we describe two new species, on (Boraginaceae) and on (Ulmaceae), from south and southwest China (the Oriental Region), and one new eriophyid mite, on (Asparagaceae), from northeast China (the Palearctic Region). All three new eriophyid mite species are distributed in the temperate region of China. We further provided mitochondrial gene (, rRNA) and nuclear gene ( rRNA, rRNA) sequences for three new species.
瘿螨（瘿螨科）是严格的植食性螨类，集中分布于欧洲、东亚、东南亚、北美西部和东部、印度南部及新西兰。中国南部和西南部是瘿螨物种多样性和特有性的热点地区。在本研究中，我们描述了来自中国南部和西南部（东洋区）紫草科植物上的两个新物种以及榆科植物上的一个新物种，还描述了来自中国东北部（古北区）天门冬科植物上的一种新瘿螨。这三个新的瘿螨物种均分布于中国温带地区。我们还提供了这三个新物种的线粒体基因（细胞色素氧化酶亚基I、16S rRNA）和核基因（18S rRNA、28S rRNA）序列。
