A metal-free approach for the synthesis of tetrahydroindolo[2,3-]carbazoles has been developed through an acid-mediated one-pot [3 + 3]-annulation of 2-indolylmethanols and 3-indolyl-substituted -quinone methides. This operationally simple protocol allowed us to prepare many unsymmetrical tetrahydroindolo[2,3-]carbazoles in good to excellent yields with a broad substrate scope. This concept was also elaborated to the synthesis of tetrahydrothieno[2,3-]carbazoles and tetrahydrothieno[3,2-]carbazoles.
通过2-吲哚甲醇与3-吲哚基取代的醌甲基化物的酸介导一锅法[3 + 3]环化反应,开发了一种无金属合成四氢吲哚并[2,3 - ]咔唑的方法。这种操作简单的方案使我们能够以良好至优异的产率制备许多不对称的四氢吲哚并[2,3 - ]咔唑,底物范围广泛。该概念还被拓展到四氢噻吩并[2,3 - ]咔唑和四氢噻吩并[3,2 - ]咔唑的合成中。
