[Saddle nose--an esthetic and functional problem].

Twenty per cent of all deformities of the external nose are saddle noses; this common deformity is an aesthetic as well as a functional problem. These two factors must be respected in planning an operative correction. There are different methods applicable depending on the size of the defect and these will be demonstrated in this paper.
