The leafhopper genus Favintiga Webb (Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae: Drabescini: Paraboloponina) is reviewed with description of a new species, Favintiga polyacantha sp. nov., from China (Hainan). A checklist with distributions and a key to males of this genus are provided. Type specimens are deposited in the Entomological Museum, Northwest A&F University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China (NWAFU).
对叶蝉属Favintiga Webb（叶蝉科：角顶叶蝉亚科：片角叶蝉族：Paraboloponina）进行了综述，并描述了来自中国（海南）的一个新物种——多刺Favintiga，即多刺叶蝉Favintiga polyacantha sp. nov.。提供了该属的分布清单和雄性鉴别检索表。模式标本保存于中国陕西杨凌西北农林科技大学昆虫博物馆（NWAFU）。
