A new species of eucalliacid ghost shrimp is described from the Gulf of Oman, Iran. Andamancalliax poorei sp. nov. is the first species of the genus described from Iranian subtidal waters and the third species worldwide. Andamancalliax poorei sp. nov. most resembles A. arafura Poore, 2021 from the Arafura Sea but can be differentiated by characters of the minor cheliped, maxilliped 3 and uropodal endopod.
一种新的真螯虾科幽灵虾物种在伊朗阿曼湾被发现并被描述。安达曼螯虾属普尔氏新种是该属在伊朗潮下带水域发现的首个物种，也是全球范围内的第三个物种。安达曼螯虾属普尔氏新种与2021年在阿拉弗拉海发现的阿拉弗拉安达曼螯虾最为相似，但可通过小螯足、第三颚足和尾足内肢的特征进行区分。
