Vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) can lead to the development knee osteoarthritis. This review systematic and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the VGRF in patellofemoral pain patients (PFP) during weight bearing tasks.
Search strategy was conducted in databases: Science Direct, Scopus, PubMed and Google Scholar from Sep 2020 to Jun 2021. The VGRF components we measured were passive impact (Fz)/peak and propulsion/active peak (Fz). The quality of the studies was evaluated with Down and Black index and it was divided into three groups: low quality (LQ), medium quality (MQ) and high quality (HQ). The standardized mean difference between PFP and healthy individuals was used to calculate the effect size.
Nine articles were selected for systematic review and meta-analysis of which 5 studies was HQ, 3 studies were MQ and 1 study was LQ were classified. PFP compared to healthy individuals with moderate and small effect size have reduced impact and propulsion respectively.
The in PFP, VGRF is influenced psychological, behavioral and biomechanical factors. Therefore, psychosomatic therapeutic approaches may have a long time effectiveness on the rehabilitation of PFP.
垂直地面反作用力(VGRF)可导致膝关节骨关节炎的发展。本综述性系统评价和荟萃分析旨在研究髌股疼痛患者(PFP)在负重任务期间的VGRF。
于2020年9月至2021年6月在Science Direct、Scopus、PubMed和谷歌学术等数据库中进行检索。我们测量的VGRF分量为被动冲击(Fz)/峰值和推进力/主动峰值(Fz)。采用唐恩和布莱克指数对研究质量进行评估,并将其分为三组:低质量(LQ)、中等质量(MQ)和高质量(HQ)。使用PFP与健康个体之间的标准化平均差来计算效应量。
选择了9篇文章进行系统评价和荟萃分析,其中5项研究为HQ,3项研究为MQ,1项研究为LQ。与健康个体相比,PFP分别在中等和小效应量下,冲击和推进力有所降低。
在PFP中,VGRF受心理、行为和生物力学因素的影响。因此,心身治疗方法可能对PFP的康复具有长期疗效。
