Preexercise, exercise, and postexercise pressure measurements were performed simultaneously in the tibialis posterior muscle and the deep posterior compartment, to establish a diagnosis of exertional tibialis posterior compartment syndrome. The tibialis posterior muscle occupies its own fascial compartment and therefore should be decompressed at the time of deep posterior compartment fasciotomy.
