Alkyl boronic acid and its derivatives are important motifs in organic synthesis and pharmaceuticals. Herein, we report a photoinduced, CuCl mediated C(sp)-H borylation of unactivated alkanes. This protocol features mild reaction conditions, readily available reagents, and gram-scalability.
