This paper describes a psychotherapeutic intervention of grief in elderly subjects. The technique rapidly and efficiently facilitated grief work. The paper further illustrates the feasibility and usefulness of psychotherapy with the aged, contrary to earlier reports that the modality was not an effective treatment for geriatric patients.
