Abstract

Four cases of tracheoesophageal fistula evaluated by computed tomography are presented. In addition to demonstrating the site of fistula, computed tomography was helpful in suggesting etiology and detecting pulmonary and mediastinal complications. Due to its ease of performance in critically ill patients and its unequivocal display of anatomy, we believe computed tomography should be the recommended diagnostic modality for tracheoesophageal fistula.

本文介绍了4例经计算机断层扫描评估的气管食管瘘病例。计算机断层扫描除了能显示瘘管的位置外，还有助于推测病因以及检测肺部和纵隔并发症。由于其在重症患者中操作简便且能清晰显示解剖结构，我们认为计算机断层扫描应成为气管食管瘘的推荐诊断方式。
