Abstract

Li & Tong, from Shangri-La City, Yunnan Province, China, is described based on egg, nymph, and winged stages. The new species is closely related to (Navás, 1932), and can be distinguished by the colour of the imago, the forking point of MP, the penis, posterolateral spines of tergum IX of imagoes, and first abdominal terga nymph, as well as the structure of the egg. The new species and have the same morphological and structural characteristics, such as the long cubital area with many intercalaries, cross veins between C, Sc, RA, and RSa surrounded with distinct pigments, the strong curvature of vein CuP in the forewing, the broad expansion of the hindwing, the membranous penis lobes fused without teeth, supporting the proposition of a new species complex, the group. The structures of the penis and the egg of the new species could help understand the origin and evolution of the genus .

李和童,来自中国云南省香格里拉市,基于卵、若虫和有翅阶段进行描述。新物种与(纳瓦斯,1932年)密切相关,可通过成虫的颜色、中脉(MP)的分叉点、阳茎、成虫第九腹节背板的后外侧刺、若虫第一腹节背板以及卵的结构来区分。新物种与具有相同的形态和结构特征,如肘脉区长且有许多闰脉,在C、Sc、RA和RSa之间的横脉周围有明显色素,前翅CuP脉强烈弯曲,后翅宽阔扩展,膜质阳茎叶融合且无齿,支持了一个新物种复合体即类群的提议。新物种的阳茎和卵的结构有助于理解该属的起源和进化。
