The authors report two cases of ectopic adrenal glands situated in the spermatic cord and recall the embryological mechanisms for such a location. They stress the fact that the origin of the gonads is very close to that of the adrenal cortex. It is important to be aware of this abnormality, especially in cases in which all sources of adrenal cortical secretion need to be suppressed.
