The first small bowel diseases have been known for three centuries, but essential breakthroughs have occured in the last twenty years. A new classification may be proposed according to, the physiopathology, the anatomo-pathology, the etiology. From the physiopathological point of view one may separate enterocytic, pre-enterocytic or post-enterocytic malabsorptions. Small bowel injuries described by the pathologist include small bowel resections, villous atrophy, lesion of the lamina propria, or transmural lesions, the vascular pathology and the ulceration of the small bowel. A new syndrome is proposed: the rupture of the cellular continuity or intercellular syndrome.
最早的小肠疾病已为人所知达三个世纪之久，但在过去二十年里才出现了重大突破。可根据生理病理学、解剖病理学、病因学提出一种新的分类方法。从生理病理学角度来看，可以区分肠细胞性、肠细胞前性或肠细胞后性吸收不良。病理学家所描述的小肠损伤包括小肠切除、绒毛萎缩、固有层病变、透壁性病变、血管病变以及小肠溃疡。还提出了一种新的综合征：细胞连续性破裂或细胞间综合征。
