Abstract

In this study, the synthesis of dimeric disulfide-Schiff bases was carried out using two methods. The structures of the obtained Schiff bases were elucidated by various spectroscopic methods as well as elemental analysis. The Schiff base derivative compounds were screened for in vitro antibacterial activity against multidrug-resistant microorganisms using microdilution method. All the tested compounds showed varying inhibition zones against the pathogens. According to MIC results, the compound 2 was shown strong inhibitory activity against all the tested microorganisms compared to antibiotics. In addition, all the tested compounds showed different antiproliferative effects on the melanoma cell line (B16F10). Our synthesized dimeric disulfide-Schiff bases have shown significant various effects.

摘要

在本研究中,采用两种方法进行了二聚体二硫键席夫碱的合成。通过各种光谱方法以及元素分析对所得席夫碱的结构进行了阐明。使用微量稀释法对席夫碱衍生物化合物进行了针对多药耐药微生物的体外抗菌活性筛选。所有测试化合物对病原体均显示出不同的抑制圈。根据最低抑菌浓度结果,与抗生素相比,化合物2对所有测试微生物均表现出较强的抑制活性。此外,所有测试化合物对黑色素瘤细胞系(B16F10)均显示出不同的抗增殖作用。我们合成的二聚体二硫键席夫碱已显示出显著的多种效应。
