Abstract

We report an efficient radical-based and photocatalyst-free method for the C(sp)-C(sp) cross-coupling reaction to synthesize α-aryl ester derivatives. The process starts from a β-keto ester and an electron-deficient halogenated aryl halide under alkaline conditions to form an electron donor-acceptor complex and is driven by visible light. From the synthetic point of view, this newly established method represents a simple way to access arylpropionic acids from commercially available and cheap starting materials.

我们报道了一种高效的基于自由基且无光催化剂的方法,用于C(sp)-C(sp)交叉偶联反应以合成α-芳基酯衍生物。该过程从β-酮酯和缺电子卤代芳基卤化物在碱性条件下开始,形成电子供体-受体复合物,并由可见光驱动。从合成角度来看,这种新建立的方法代表了一种从市售且廉价的起始原料制备芳基丙酸的简便方法。
