It is shown that the work capacity of operators performing continuously for 56 hours can be predicted on the basis of their EEG and HR. It is found that a drastic decrease of work capacity is preceded by a 20-30% increase of low-frequency (delta and theta) activity and a 15-40% decrease of high-frequency (alpha and beta) activity as well as by a simultaneous decrease of HR. These changes were revealed 1 to 4 hours before changes in the operator's work capacity.
