Systemic approach to X-ray diagnostic process permits improving its efficiency while the quality remains practically unaltered. The process is described as a sum of interrelated operations. The adequacy of the approach has been evidenced by the recent international exhibition "Zdravookhranenie-85". Simplified "Basic Radiological System" appears to hold considerable promise.
