This study reports a novel family of cage manganesesilsesquioxanes prepared via complexation with bathophenanthroline (4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline). The resulting Mn-, MnLi-, and MnNa-compounds exhibit several unprecedented cage metallasilsesquioxane structural features, including intriguing self-assembly of silsesquioxane ligands. Complexes were tested for fungicidal activity against seven classes of phytopathogenic fungi. The representative MnNa-complex acts as a catalyst in the cycloaddition of CO to epoxides under solvent-free conditions to form cyclic carbonates in good yields.
本研究报道了通过与红菲绕啉(4,7-二苯基-1,10-菲绕啉)络合制备的一类新型笼状锰倍半硅氧烷。所得的锰、锰锂和锰钠化合物展现出几个前所未有的笼状金属倍半硅氧烷结构特征,包括倍半硅氧烷配体有趣的自组装。测试了这些配合物对七类植物致病真菌的杀真菌活性。代表性的锰钠配合物在无溶剂条件下作为一氧化碳与环氧化物环加成反应的催化剂,以良好的产率形成环状碳酸酯。
