With the rising prevalence of obesity and the increasing demand for aesthetic procedures, it is anticipated that a growing number of patients presenting for consultation will be prescribed these medications. Therefore, it is critical for practicing plastic surgeons to understand their potential synergistic effects and safety considerations. This manuscript explores the potential benefits and considerations of antidiabetic medications in plastic surgery patients for weight loss therapy.
