BACKGROUND

Radiological imaging plays a significant role in the diagnostics of shoulder pathologies. Based on a patient's medical history, physical examination and radiological imaging, it is possible to plan the further conservative or surgical treatment.

OBJECTIVES

Common pathologies of the shoulder and the correct radiological imaging are presented.

CONCLUSIONS

A rational and targeted use of radiological imaging, together with the medical history and physical examination allows correct diagnosis of pathologies of the shoulder joint.
