The authors report two new cases of menstrual pneumothorax. In both cases the lesions of endometriosis seemed to dominate the pathogenesis. After a rapid review of the literature to elucidate the main clinical characteristics of this curious syndrome, the authors stress the advantage of a pleuroscopic examination in women with the syndrome.
