The rapid development of cosmetic injections has led to an increased incidence of nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infection.
Here, we presented a case of cutaneous Mycobacterium abscessus infection subsequent to botulinum toxin injection for treating masseter hypertrophy, and reviewed the literature on skin and soft tissue infections caused by NTM after cosmetic injections.
The patient underwent surgical excision and regular antibiotic therapy and has had nearly 2 months of follow-up without any signs of infection. The diagnosis and treatment of NTM infection have always been challenging, and further research is needed to standardize and guide the treatment.
美容注射的快速发展导致非结核分枝杆菌（NTM）感染的发病率增加。
在此，我们报告了一例因治疗咬肌肥大而接受肉毒杆菌毒素注射后发生皮肤脓肿分枝杆菌感染的病例，并回顾了美容注射后 NTM 引起的皮肤和软组织感染的文献。
患者接受了手术切除和定期抗生素治疗，随访近 2 个月，无感染迹象。NTM 感染的诊断和治疗一直具有挑战性，需要进一步研究来规范和指导治疗。
