Modern medical and pharmaceutical studies have successfully isolated and identified over 100 natural small molecular compounds from . These studies have also confirmed its various pharmacological activities, including analgesic, antioxidant, anticancer, anticoagulant, and antibacterial properties. is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine preparations to treat impotence, hemangioma, pain and other diseases. However, more research is needed to fully explore the pharmacological effects of this herbal medicine. This paper aims to summarize both domestic and international research literature on , focusing on its main components, pharmacological activity and clinical application. The findings will provide valuable references for further research and development of as a traditional Chinese medicine resource.
