A method for radiographic longitudinal study of mineral content during in-vitro demineralization and remineralization of human tooth enamel.

The combination of X-ray-radiography with digital image processing described provides a tool for longitudinal studies of de- and remineralization of dental enamel. The mineral loss and uptake can be observed in the same specimen.
