To assess the effectiveness of microvascular decompression(MVD) in treating inpatients suffering from primary hemifacial spasm(HFS). A total of 21 inpatients with HFS underwent MVD. The clinical effect was follow up evaluated according to the clinical symptoms until post operative 6 months. The effective rate of MVD for 1 day, 14 days, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months post-operation was 95.2%, 100%, 100%, 100% and 100%, respectively.one patient had transient tinnitus and the symptom disappeared within 6 days postoperatively.one patient developed postoperative incomplete facial paralysis(HB grade IV facial nerve function, grade Ⅱ) and recovered 6 days after surgery; There was no cerebrospinal fluid leakage, intracranial infection, death or disability occurred during follow-up. Microvascular decompression is a safe and effective method for the treatment of primary hemifacial spasm, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
评估微血管减压术(MVD)治疗原发性面肌痉挛(HFS)住院患者的有效性。共有21例HFS住院患者接受了MVD治疗。根据临床症状对临床效果进行随访评估,直至术后6个月。术后1天、14天、1个月、3个月和6个月MVD的有效率分别为95.2%、100%、100%、100%和100%。1例患者出现短暂耳鸣,症状在术后6天内消失。1例患者术后出现不完全性面瘫(House-Brackmann面神经功能分级IV级,II级),术后6天恢复;随访期间未发生脑脊液漏、颅内感染、死亡或残疾。微血管减压术是治疗原发性面肌痉挛的一种安全有效的方法,值得临床推广。
