[The helium-neon laser in the treatment of suppurative wounds].

Comparative results of the treatment of purulent wounds of soft tissues of different genesis by traditional methods of drug therapy in combination with the low intensity laser radiation of the red part of the optical spectrum in 274 patients are described. A reliably accelerated cleansing of the wound was achieved with a simultaneous growth of the granulation tissue and epithelization. No complications were noted.
