The primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor arising from the smooth muscle cells in the hepatic vessels, bile ducts, and ligamentum teres. It is considered a subtype of hepatic sarcomas. We report awkward F-FDG PET-CT findings of a primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma masquerading as a benign hepatic tumor, which were confirmed by histopathological and immunohistochemical examinations in a 78-year-old woman.
原发性肝平滑肌肉瘤是一种罕见的恶性肿瘤，起源于肝血管、胆管和肝圆韧带的平滑肌细胞。它被认为是肝肉瘤的一种亚型。我们报告了一名78岁女性原发性肝平滑肌肉瘤伪装成良性肝肿瘤的F-FDG PET-CT检查结果异常，经组织病理学和免疫组织化学检查得以证实。
