Tricuspid regurgitation, once considered a relatively benign condition, has now gathered significant attention due to new evidence showing its impact on both short- and long-term follow-up. While surgical intervention remains the established standard approach for treating severe tricuspid regurgitation, current guidelines provide Class I indication for intervention in only a limited set of scenarios.
