IBD patients have a 4.04-fold elevated likelihood of having CRS compared to non-IBD patients. CRS patients have a 4.23-fold elevated likelihood of having IBD compared to non-CRS patients. The risk of CRS development after IBD is five times higher than IBD development after CRS.
