Abstract

A zinc-catalyzed C(sp)-N dehydrative cross-coupling between carboxylic acids and NH-sulfoximines to afford N-aroylated sulfoximines under mild reaction conditions is described. Various NH-sulfoximines were coupled with readily available carboxylic acids to provide the corresponding N-aroylated sulfoximines in good to excellent yields.
