Abstract

Bladder cancer is a urological tumor with high rates of recurrence despite recent advances in novel therapies. Many proteins involved in the molecular mechanisms are currently an enigma, especially the transmembrane 9 superfamily member 1 which has an unclear function. Wei published the function and mechanism of this protein, and showed that it could participate in the proliferation, migration and invasion of tumor cells in bladder cancer, therefore treatments directed against this protein may be beneficial in avoiding this condition.

摘要

膀胱癌是一种泌尿系统肿瘤,尽管新型疗法取得了最新进展,但复发率仍然很高。许多参与分子机制的蛋白质目前仍是个谜,尤其是功能尚不清楚的跨膜9超家族成员1。Wei发表了这种蛋白质的功能和机制,并表明它可能参与膀胱癌肿瘤细胞的增殖、迁移和侵袭,因此针对这种蛋白质的治疗可能有助于避免这种疾病。
